Zippi is currently positioned to become a key component of eBay’s future business, as an integrated service provider. Zippi provides opportunity through a unique product set, services, and merchandising systems.

Our team of founders began in the early days of the Internet, and as a result, Robert A. Rositano Jr. (CEO Zippi Networks, Inc.) became the number three employee of a family funded venture, Netcom Online Communications, Inc. (the Internet’s first ISP), this explosion of Internet growth soon created the need for training materials and support of this growing industry. Together with his brother Dean Rositano (President Zippi Networks, Inc.) they quickly became innovators and leaders in this fast paced world of the Internet, creating the first instructional video based tutorial product to be bundled with Internet service providers.

Together they authored two additions of “Que’s Mega Web Directory” a hard bound book and CD (which was purchased by MacMillan publishing), developed an instructional software series and established national retail distribution in the mid 90’s, all of which led to the creation of an interactive CD ROM product 1998 designed to teach and deliver new users to the Internet. This Internet site became known as an online community named nettaxi.com. Nettaxi went on to receive the “Joey” award for best interactive CD ROM, successfully partnered with eBay, and built nettaxi.com into a public company with a $700,000,000 + market capitalization with a consistent top 10 ranking on the Internets most trafficked web sites. Nettaxi was then used as an acquisition vehicle with over $8,000,000 cash, completing a merger acquisition in April of 2002.

Most recently the Rositano’s renewed their relationship with eBay by developing a turn key solution for prospective eBay buyers, sellers, and home based business entrepreneurs. This solution has been promoted and sold on television, radio, and the Internet for approx. two (2) years (beginning in 2003) with approx. 100,000 units sold.

As with most entrepreneurs the Rositano’s could not watch from the sidelines as the emergence of Web 2.0 companies began to emerge in the market, the Rositano’s soon financed, built, and launched an “aspiring artist community” called America’s Biggest, Inc. this community became a point of entry for category specific content to be streamed and viewed over the internet, in the vein of “American Idol” and “America’s Funniest Video’s”, with categories such as America’s Biggest…Band, Solo Artist, Comedian, and even “Jack Ass” this community was dubbed “Where Reality TV meets the Web” and was Sold in 2005 to a publicly traded company called Broadcaster, Inc. (NASDAQ: BCSR.OB)

During and following the sale of America’s Biggest, Inc. the eBay product began to develop a life of its own, with unique and explosive growth opportunities, these opportunities were being driven by the needs of customers as well as the needs of current eBay users.

The opportunity to expand the eBay business offering and address a new and growing number of challenges facing the eBay community became the focus of this latest venture, Zippi Networks, Inc.

Zippi is a corporation that was formed in 2006 to acquire the assets of their home-based eBay business (LLC), and further purchase the assets of Southern California based Zippi, Inc. Together with strong management these assets, relationships, experiences, technologies, and products have been assembled to create the hottest new company to enter the eBay community space.
